The return of blog entry mad libs
There’s a reason I haven’t posted since Monday: I’m out of ideas. So, I guess it’s time for more blog entry mad libs. Fill it out and post the results in the comments!
Ever since moving from [geographical location] to [geographical location], I’ve been listening to a lot of [evocative and personally resonant semi-obscure singer/songwriter]. Something about driving down [name] Street on the way to [unnecessarily prolix college seminar title involving a colon] every Wednesday while listening to [song title] really makes my [body part] [verb]. Maybe it’s the use of [song title] in that one episode of [television show rhyming with "Rick's Street Wonder" ], or the inclusion of [different song title] on the recent compilation [label comp with title following this pattern: "(obscure song lyric): (x) years of (verbal phrase) on (indie record label)" ]. Or maybe it’s just the fact that [season that isn't summer, winter, or spring] always finds me returning to [depressing genre of music]. For the uninitiated, I recommend beginning with [album title], released in [year from the 1990s], then checking out the underrated [album title following this pattern: "(gerund) the (noun)" or "The (verbal conjugation ending in -tion) of all (plural noun)" ]. Right now, I’m going to make an iTunes playlist of [evocative and personally resonant semi-obscure singer/songwriter]’s B-sides, crank up the volume, and read [article that sounds like it would appear in the New Yorker or Harper's] while I [euphemism for bowel movement].
