The Drunk Dino Dispatch
Last night was quintessential. I decided I wanted to park myself in some hipster bars and get drunk, so we headed out to the Rainbo and then 1056. Dino and Adam met up with us and Dino was in rare form. Adam, who’s known Dino for close to ten years, said it’s the drunkest he’s ever seen him.
The DJ at 1056 was playing some 80s music, and perhaps taking ’s cue from the previous night, Dino came up with some very clever re-interpretations of the lyrics:
“Borderline”—”I will fuck your fucking shit up all over the borderline”
“I Love Rock & Roll”—”I love fucking you up, so fuck my ass up in the jukebox, baby”
“Rio”—”I will fuck you on a boat across the Rio Grande”
Like I said, he was in rare form. At one point, this sketchy girl tried to hit on him, but he was having none of it. Then he attacked my brother.

Like I said, he was in rare form. (I love drunk Dino!)
The night was a riot, despite poor bartending service, an extremely rude cab driver, and the unmoving 2 a.m. line at Estelle’s. I ought to go out more often.
