M*A*S*H*U*P
Well, we all knew it was only a matter of time before I made my own contribution to new world of “mash-ups” that all the kids are crazy about these days. I try to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to musical trends, and my ambition knows no limits. I aimed particularly high this time around, putting my prodigious sampling and remixing skills to work as I combined not one, not two, but five “hot tracks” into a “killer” “mash-up” which finds relatively obscure like Spoon, Weezer, and the Beatles woven seamlessly into the more well-known sounds of Speed Of Sauce and Alto Heceta.

BEST. MASHUP. EVER! I particularly love the way you’ve integrated the jangly guitar sound of Taxman with the delicate lyrics of SoS. It makes me cry every time.

Hey, thanks. I’m already working on my next mash-up. It’s between “Take Your Mama Out” by the Scissor Sisters and “Four Minutes, Thirty-Three Seconds” by John Cage.

Thanks, Pie. I think the best thing about your comment is the creative spacing of the ellipses.
