I don’t have much to say. This won’t be the brilliant, polished, conceptual prose you’ve come to expect from me. This is going to be one of those run-of-the-mill; blah blah blah here-are-some-links posts. This is partly because my week has been extraordinarily mundane so far, and every day can be more or less summarized by the work/gym/band practice hat trick I’ve recently perfected, with maybe half an hour at the end of the day watching a DVD, drinking a beer, and reading. I’ve also been busy writing stuff for the class I’m taking. So it’s not as if I’m slacking off. As further evidence, here’s a press photo of my band, taken by my brother:

We wanted to select just the right location for the shot, and our criteria were that it should have hideous flourescent lighting and be no more than four feet away. So, we settled on our shithole practice space. As you can see.

Finally, Sonya sent me this excellent mashup between two of my favorite bands. It’s almost as inspired as “Drop It Like It’s Huey”.
