Nick’s got me all figured out. Let’s go bang!

I have been utterly without ideas for blog posts these last few days. Right now I’m sitting in my living room listening to an advance copy of the new Sam Prekop album, drinking a Harp, and enjoying a rare, relaxing moment of free time. It’s in these moments that I truly appreciate the miscellaneous ephemera that blogs were meant to celebrate. Some of the more amusing things that have crossed my radar:

Anyone who frequents the Empty Bottle knows that the crazy lead singer of 90-Day Men works there. But did you know he’s about to be catapaulted to new indie-rock heights by becoming the sixth member of TV On The Radio?

I never grew out of my puerile appreciation of phallic humor. I hope you haven’t either.
