We got an email at work informing us that the firm’s revenues have reached $1 billion. I have seen approximately 0.000026% of that.

In a way, it’s reassuring to be back to the normalcy of the workday routine. I can understand how people get complacent and, before they know it, twenty years of their adult lives have disappeared behind them.

But I’m not going to let that happen! No sir! It’s a New Year, and it’s time to turn over a new leaf! and so forth.

Really, I just wanted any excuse to update so that I could see “2005″ in the entry header. Me, I’m still writing “1995″ on all my checks.

I really have nothing further to add, except my new year’s resolutions:

1. Stop making unfunny lists of facetious new year’s resolutions.

I’m not sharing my real resolutions with anyone because I fear that would jinx them. You’ll know what they are in due time, when you see me partying in the Caymans with Lindsay Lohan on my new yacht.
