Sure feels good to see back home again. I even have a nostalgia for Norris Hall and my “Taj Mahal” room even though the place is an eyesore. I could go for a Forum big cookie but they moved the cookie concession across the street to the “Joe.” Between that and the SuperWalmart it gets weirder every year I come back to Poweshiek County.

Jake, you went back to Grinnell for thanksgiving!!!
Had forgotten about your site until recently, I think it was through visiting Andrew’s photopage when he updated his plan, and then remembering Joe’s and then yours.

A jolt of recognition shot through seeing your photos of my second home of sorts. Grinnell was very much on my mind this weekend. So good to see pictures of it!

Also, your kitty picture “life is hard” brought a smile to my face and made coping with that particularly dark and dreary day in London a bit easier. I have it on my desktop now, as a reminder of sorts. that life is *not* that hard.
