I had a good day today, at least in terms of school and writing. One of my students told me my class was his favorite of all the courses he’s taking this semester, which meant a lot to me. (Of course, this means I’ll be tailoring the rest of the semester’s lessons specifically to his needs and no one else’s—it’s what any good teacher does.)

Then I met with my thesis advisor, who told me I’m right where I need to be in terms of progress on my manuscript.

And I’m going to New York this weekend, which never fails to be a fully amazing time.

And between last week’s “Office”, Sunday’s “Family Guy”, and “Deadwood” in the Netflix queue, I’m inundated by great television.
