Ugh. I drank too many alcohols last night.

I was over at Ethan and Meredith’s place for Taco Tuesday, which also involves whiskey, apparently. And when I drink whiskey I traditionally have to have a beer chaser or three. So you do the math.

(There isn’t actually any math.)

But it was fun to hang out with my fellow schoolmates again, and talk shit and try to figure out how best to brace ourselves for the new school year, which starts in approximately five minutes. It helped me get back into the right frame of mind to start writing and teaching again after the torpor of summer.

Which is good, because I still have to write my syllabus.
